Job description
The Model Home Stager reports directly to the Owner of Luna Beach Interiors and assists in the interior design (decorating) and staging of model homes.
Responsibilities
Select furnishings, art, accessories and fabrics for various floorplans of model homes
Place furniture, fabric, art and accessory orders with outside vendors for each project and keep the model home team notified of any shipment delays and backorders
Maintain detail packing list spreadsheets for all projects
Create invoices for each model, maintain the spreadsheet listing of model home invoices and ensure that all items used at a model are on the final invoice
Coordinate with the window treatment fabricator to ensure window treatments will be ready before the model installation date
Coordinate with the outside contractor for window treatment installation for each model and ensure the outside contractor is available for model installation dates and is notified of any changes in the schedule
Assist in model home staging/installations including working with team members regarding placement of furniture, art and accessories
Maintain the office files for model home installations
Maintain the inventory spreadsheet for furnishings stored at the Luna Beach Interiors warehouse
Ensure adequate inventory is on hand for items used in each model including such things as place mats, napkin rings, pillow stuffers, towels, dishes and glassware
Requirements
Design experience needed; 3-5 years related experience preferred
Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Creativity, ability to think outside the box and take initiative
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with retail or inventory software is a plus
Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
Excellent attention to detail
