Interior Design
The Interior Designer/Model Stager reports directly to the Owner of Luna Beach Interiors and will design and install model home projects located throughout the southeast.
Responsibilities
- Select furnishings, art, accessories and fabrics for various floorplans of model homes
- Place furniture, fabric, art and accessory orders with outside vendors for each project
- Travel to model home on install date to oversee the project
- Create invoices for each model with the goal of staying on budget and ensure that all items used at a model are on the final invoice
- Coordinate with the window treatment fabricator to ensure window treatments will be ready on time for the installation date
- Coordinate with the outside contractor for window treatment installation for each model and ensure the outside contractor is available for model installation dates and is notified of any changes in the schedule
Requirements
- Design experience needed; 3-5 years related experience required
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Creativity, ability to think outside the box and take initiative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with retail or inventory software is a plus
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
