We are looking for an individual experienced in counter sales and support, along with a background in the marine industry with knowledge of HVAC/electrical, diesel and/or outboard engines to handle the following responsibilities:

Assist retail customers with parts ordering and suggest additional related parts for completing the repair/sales in person, on the phone, and through email
Strong researching skills in using an electronic parts catalogs to look up parts and make recommendations
Work with technicians to source parts for repair orders
Assist in efficient inventory control and receive product into the computer
Track parts and supplies provided to technicians per repair order
Distribute special orders promptly and ensure a consistent follow up policy to relieve inventory
Handle and process returns
Ensure parts store is properly stocked and maintain store cleanliness
Be aware of factory policies in regard to parts and service bulletins
Assist in cycle counting
Education and/or Work Experiences Requirements:

High school diploma or GED required
Experience in retail sales
Marine industry experience preferred
Experience working with one or more manufacturers
Background in HVAC/electrical, diesel and/or outboard engines is a plus
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Good organizational & computer skills
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Qualifications:

·       High school diploma or GED required

·       Valid Driver’s license

·       Experience in retail sales

·       Marine industry experience preferred

·       Experience in working with one or more manufacturers

·       Background in HVAC/electrical, diesel, and/or outboard engines is a plus

·       Ability to work in either Gulf Shores or Orange Beach location

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

·       Good organizational and computer skills

·       Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

·       Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

·       Ability to maintain a professional appearance
